New Media Integration into Social Studies 10AP; Collaboration with Shelley Kirkvold.
Another very positive collaborative project was a Magazine layout and design project which I taught within Shelley Kirkvold's Social Studies 10AP classroom. To begin, I reviewed the Principles and Elements of Design with the students, providing connections to typography and font design. Students were encouraged to see these Design cores within the school, and in advertising.
With these concepts solidified, the collaborative element on the project began.
